RANDY B. STOLTZ

PRESIDENT

After producing Video Brochures to direct selling companies in the early 90s, Randy launched his financial services career in 1998.  As an early investment professional, he started brokering life & health insurance to parents of college-bound students. This growing niche expanded into founding Campus Advisers which morphed into Stoltz Financial Partners’ financial planning. As the client base and team continued to grow, this expanded the opportunity set to brand as Clear Direction Investments.

This allows Stoltz to operate in a fiduciary manner matching client needs with insurance carriers, succession planning & risk management firms, and alternative asset classes such as Oil & Gas royalties, Private Placement real estate offerings…including QOZ (qualified opportunity zone) funds, REITs and 1031 DST (Delaware Statutory Trust) funds.

Outside of real estate investing, he works closely with public stock/bond/ETF investment managers, Stonebridge Capital Advisors…professional portfolio managers who interact with clients alongside Stoltz, tailoring each account according to goal. He is a licensed registered representative with Concorde Investment Services which provides vetted access to many leading alternative investment firms, particularly in the 1031 DST space.

Stoltz is an Arizona native, growing up near Old Town Scottsdale. He attended Coronado high school, then earned bachelor degrees from ASU in marketing and finance. He married Patti, a Chicago native, in 1991. They have 2 sons, Carson and Trenton.

Says Carson, “I am humbled by the rare opportunity to continue our family’s business into future generations, keeping things productive and focusing on putting people first and finances second.”

Carson earned his Bachelors in University Studies from Northern Arizona University in 2018. During those years, he was the head manager for the Lumberjacks basketball team. The year prior to joining Clear Direction Investments he worked for the Flagstaff Honda dealership.

They are a “client led / partnership driven” group of portfolio managers (PMs). Clear Direction is fortunate to have their custom expertise managing our clients’ portfolios as Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).  We work with Stonebridge Capital because their entire team provides our clients with a very high level of client service and expertise, without super high account minimums. My clients can also meet in our Scottsdale office some of the PMs who manage their accounts including Robert Kincade, John Schonberg, CFA, Michael Dashner, CFA, and Ron Hume.
